Apples New CEO Making the Company His Own
November 2, 2011 No CommentsTim Cook said he would never change what Steve Jobs had created at Apple, however since he took over the company in August employees have noticed some changes. Cook, unlike Jobs, is focusing more on employee promotions and payments. He has already promoted vice president Eddy Cue to Apple’s senior vice president of internet software and services.
While Cook promised there would be no restructuring of Apple, Cook has completely restructured Apple’s big education division and has deviated from the companies overall organizational structure. Cook is known more for his sales and marketing strategies than his knowledge of the product, a sentiment Jobs mentioned in his biography which was released recently.
