Aidan Sullivan will go into surgery for his right ear in March 1st next year. Thanks to a New York Charity, nine-year-old Aidan’s right ear will be reconstructed and he will get one step closer to living a normal life. The founder of the The Vincent Crotty Memorial Fund of Suffern, New York, was touched by Sullivan’s story, who had collected money with a fundraiser but ended up not seeing any of it as the collected money was stolen shortly after.

Aidan’s mom and dad were honored that the charity chose their son, who suffers from a congenital disorder that has caused deformities in his jaw and skull. “They heard about our story on the news and in the papers,” Colleen Sullivan said. “They called us up and came over and presented us with the check” of $7,000.
