Energy Consultant Energy Education Highlighted in the NY Times

Energy Education was recently named in a NY Times article as a top energy consultant to NY schools.  Energy consultants have saved schools on average 20-40% in energy utility costs.  These savings have helped schools balance their budgets, maintain staff numbers, and allow them to keep valuable programs.  At first, these savings come at a high price to replace expensive utilities, but the savings quickly consume the upfront costs of replacing old equipment and the consultant’s fees.  These schools then go on to win Energy Star awards that are issued by the EPA (Environmental Protection Agency) and DOE (Department of Energy).  Click here to view the original article in the NY Times on Energy Education.
