Registered nurse made number one best jobs in of 2012, according to USA News. The rankings were based off of projected job growth, average salary, predicted job prospects, and a quantitative assessment of the job satisfaction of those who are currently or have previously worked in the profession.

Other professions that made the top of the list were: software developers, pharmacist, medical assistant, database administrator, and web developer.
